Pinner has been a guitarist in the tri-state scene for years. Pinner has been a fixture at jams and as a sub for several bands. He also was part of the popular acoustic duo Kosmik Kow. Pinner has studied with Jazz greats Vic Juris and Dave Allen. Some of his biggest influences include Vic Juris, Dave Allen, John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Oz Noy, Robben Ford, Matt Schofield, Scott Henderson, and Scott Lerner.
